In 2010 Albany will have a new City Treasurer and I thank everyone who helped make that possible.  I look forward to serving all of the residents of our city and to providing the leadership and financial transparency we need to find solutions to the economic challenges we are facing.  

My office will be open, accessible and accountable to all our citizens.  As I plan my transition, I ask you to share your ideas, hopes and concerns with me.  We will all need to work together in order to create real economic opportunity and a sustainable future for our city.
